Occasionally, good ole Grilldog needs your help. Although we like to be all about Food, Fun and Friends, even I, Grilldog, have to bark about what seems common sense to Help Grilldog vs what seems like Common Sense not to Help Grilldog.

Friends, "Common Sense" Join the Forum, join discussions, start threads and are engaging in the general Food for Thought here of Food, Fun and Friends.

Now, Grilldog loves guests to stop by, check out the sight, however, when guests continually come back and don't register, they are not helping out the Forum. (Common Sense)

I've several people that are Lerkers, they come on to the site, read stuff and I hear from them by Email when they don't like something. That's Not helpful... If you don't want to become a member I won't be upset but don't come back. If you like the site sign up. Please. You are not being helpful by lerking around my site. People see a lot of members are more likely to join then a site that is besieged lerkers who can't figure out that I can't give out Free DVD's, make acceptions for them.

Does Grilldog have to Bark it out.. Friends help each other out.
A leech is someone who only takes and gives nothing back. I don't like Leeches.

By the way, what happened to your adult forum? If that was deleted due to a guest griping, can't you just hide things like that from anyone who isn't a member??

Sorry Grillpup, I just have a problem with people that say they are your friends and then all they ever want to do is want want want want... I guess I was at a loose end. I'm really glad for all of the help that Jude gives me with this site, but I've got people here who just come on and say they want to help grilldog but don't join and don't post but something goes wrong and I get an email that takes 10 minutes to read. Hopefully, this will go away. I'm going to figure out a way to code this site so that only those who want to be a part of it will... I mean really, who in their RIGHT MIND would come on to a forum like this and surf through all of the postings, find something they don't like and then harass me about it.

These forums are like the flip switch on a remote control If my Food Fun and Friends Forum upsets someone, I'm sorry, don't come back, that's easy. I'm totally bewildered...

I think I'm going to take a break and watch a movie... this has gotten too silly.

That is very bad, sorry to hear about it, I hope you get that sorted out, as it really makes people negative, and we don't want YOU Negative.

yeah, it's sad, the lerkers pick up after I send out a newsletter update. They come on read the threads, never sign up and then email me what they like or don't like then I get. Oh Grilldog, I love your show, but I don't get the channel or I'm going to be busy that night, or it's kids night out, or I'm out of work, I'll be in school, it's the holidays, I don't have any money, Please, take your time and your money to burn me off a DVD and mail it to me. I guess I just had one too many of these people and it got me down.

We can make this forum private, if you want, G'dog! If you don't know how to do it, I'll be happy to do it! Just leave a few forums open, so they can read what it's about, but close it off unless they become registered members! I also added the image verification back, so that should stop the spam bots from joining!

Just let me know if you want to "go private"!

OK, I made it semi-private! There is a way to make it so a guest can't see anything, but I didn't think you wanted to go that far! Just log out and take a look and see if you want me to take away what I left (the Help Desk and Reviews).

Thanks Jude, that should teach those lurkers, and the worse ones I blacklisted on my personal email account so that it'll purge instantly their emails bwahahahahaha...

I'm hoping this becomes a great site for Food, Fun and Friends, it's shameful that I have to take measures to protect myself from a few misguided people sigh..
