Good ole Grilldog and the entire Grillpack of Friends want to send out their warmest thanks to one of our newest Pack members and Official Winery of Grilldog Presents: William and Tammy owners of Hacienda de Las Rosas Peruvian Paso Horse Ranch, Vineyards and Winery.

We met William and Tammy a month before we filmed "Wine, Meats, Grille" over a glass of wine and some good food at their Winery and Horse Farm. After a few minutes (and a few more glasses of wine) we had developed a strong relationship and some great plans for a show.

Originally, we were going to use the Hacienda as a back drop for the show but due to over cast skies, chilly weather adding to a dwindling cast of characters, we changed the script from script 1 to script 2. We moved the Grille into the patio, our sound crew immediately turned off the water fountain (you have to hear Good ole Grilldog barking orders). However, we ended up with a great show.

William and Tammy provided us some horses to ride, a great facility and I have no clue how much wine and additional food they served the 30 of us there. Many people helped out ( you can see them "milling around" during the filming and generally having a good time.

Anyone wanting to know more about the Hacienda de las Rosas, visit their website at http://www.haciendadelasrosas.org and tell them Grilldog Sent ya.

Also, please feel free to post your comments on this thread!
Well, Grilldog, I'm quite upset! William from the winery came into our pub, the Irish Sports Bar on Main in El Cajon (yes, a shameless plug, deal with it!) and I didn't know he was your sponser but the wine was awesome! I was shocked to hear that you two were in cohorts... I have to come to the next filming there! and they supplied all the wine!!! I'm on your tail Grilldog!!! and I'm sure Grillpup is 100% behind me... You need an eye on you!!
oh, that was a great show Grilldog, thanks for showing me the preview. Yeah, Grillectable you missed a ton of free wine and food. Four paws and a tail as grilldog always says.
yes, William is quite the salesman and the show, like their wine is awesome!

we had a lot of fun that day and many people came back the second time we filmed out there, that was the Smok'n Sausages episode!
well, I couldn't make the show but I did do my part and mixed the drinks at your home location, maybe next time Grilldog! It sure looked like a lot of fun... oh and stop shaking up the seltzer bottles!
ok .. i missed the fun here .. what exactly are seltzer bottles??? Big Grin
you'll have to watch the scene of G-Man making the drink. He picks up a 2 liter bottle and opens it and it sprays all over the place. Seltzer is a liquid that is basically carbonated water. You add it to drinks to make them fizzy and to water down the taste a bit.
i see .. like soda water ... i will go check on that scene then .. Big Grin
