2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon hot-pepper flakes
3 cups whole blanched almonds
salt to taste
This is how it's in Grilldog's menu but I've changed mine.
I'm also addicted to garlic just as much as Grilldog, everybody keeps on complaining in the car pool that I sometimes smell too much of garlic, sorry people but yes I live on garlic.
I've replaced the almonds with normal peanuts as Ruben loves peanuts very very much and whenever we watch a movie, I make this. I've made this last year for the first time and since then I have to keep on making it whenever we watch movies, so the menu for my son is Uncle Grilldog's peanuts (O yes and I use less pepper for Ruben) and Mom's Popcorn, I do my popcorn with butter and not oil and then afterwards add some more butter. Both these combinations with a DVD is absolutely wonderful.
