well, all I appreciate everyone's input for the latest contest. It looks like Minxy and Ursula are our only two winners, I hear Mouri is chatter like a chimp about she's going to be number three but there's only a couple days left.

Since I would like to get a lot more reviews in my book, I'm thinking of running a new contest but with different rules. I think 10 reviews is still a good idea, however, I'm thinking about making a few changes.

1. Only currently made recipes will count.
2. No duplicate reviews. Basically, any item that was reviewed this time by anyone can't be reviewed again for credit. Also, during the contest if two people review the same recipe, only the first review will count towards credit for the person that posted that first review.
3. to make #2 work, I'm thinking of Not publishing the book on line, however, having everyone "register" to play. The registration would include the 10 recipes that they are going to review. If someone registers with a recipe that has already been registered and approved for someone else, the registration will be returned for an subsitute recipe. Once a registration has been approved I'll email the NEW complied Guidebook to that person. I'm not going to post it here for everyone to look at and not review LOL...
4. I'm going to create a list of questions that the reviews Must Answer in order to be considered and the review should include a review of the story associated with that recipe in the book.
5. I'll create the new contest forum and all registered "players" will have their own subforum to post their reviews or anything else about the contest or book that they want to post.

So that's my ideas, please respond with your opinions, good bad indifferent, or other suggestions. I figure I'll work on the rules for at least through July and perhaps August start the new contest for three months. Anyway, please let me know your views. Thanks! hmmm .. good thing about new contest ... about protection against repeat reviews ... i also understand about not making this new book available to all .. but say .. i do not know if i can get the time to join the contest this time as i will be living away from home this time .. i want to try .. but does that mean i cant have a look see ?? i still would love to look for typos if u still want me too ... plz plz plz ????

Grilldog, great idea, that would be great and I've got 2 versions of your recipe book, the first one and then this last one you've got on now, but the final one would be a real price hey hey hey!!!

well, I needed someone to look after my sight because of my many trips and Mouri is very dedicated and trustworthy so I gave her more powers to help me in my absences. The next version isn't the final version, it's basically the last version I'm going to post for the net and let out before I add pictures and format it for publishing. As well as adding any additional edits that need be. However, it should be the final one as far as what recipes are in it. It will also have more deserts in it.

i wud love to go thrugh it then .. say i wrote in another thread about funny cartoons between different sections with appropriate captions .. just another product of the ghost cells dancing in my head .. what do u think about it ..

Well Grilldog, you could not have made a mistake, Mouri is the perfect choice to help, she is really fantastic!!!

So we will get the final book if we take part in the competition!!! Hmm another challenge!

Haven't read that thread yet, but will go through it hopefully today, depends on how much work comes in, it still quiet though.

Yes, I'm looking forward to the final version and the next contest, I'm so busy now with the chili cook off at the end of the month and coordinating things and working on new shows I'm swamped! I don't think I'll add cartoon's other then my Grilldog logo head, I'll use the picture of me at the grille as the front cover and have pictures from the shows (that are on my DVD Sight) in different places.

oh .. u are adding pics from the shows .. thats cool .. .. hopefully we will get to see one in which they are throwing stuff at u ..
