As the book says ..
the book Wrote:
Pesto
Pesto is only a food processor away. It’s such a simple and quick thing to make. Your main problem is to get a bunch of fresh Basil, or a combination of Basil and other herbs. You can put pesto on just about anything. One of my favorite things to do is to make a homemade pizza crust and use fresh pesto instead of tomato sauce and add such things as sun dried tomatoes and goat cheese. Also, with today’s growing “specialty” shops, pizza crusts are getting easier to come by in the grocery stores. Therefore, if you are looking for something different to do, make a pizza with left-overs, don’t forget the fresh pesto!
2 cups basil leaves
3 cloves garlic
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon pine nuts or almonds
Salt and Pepper to taste.
(you can mix basil leaves with cilantro or parsley as well. Experiment with different amounts and discover your favorite). For something really different toss in a tablespoon of horseradish.)
Combine all in a food processor and puree. Serve immediately, keeps for 4 days.

one of the easiest .. and fastest ever .. we used crushed almonds .. and its one of the best achhar (indian term for foods that falls under its category) that I have ever tasted … u know u don’t even need pizza .. try it with just plain cheese sandwich . one bread then a layer of cheese then another bread then this achhar … and u got the greatest easiest made breakfast ever !! that’s what I had .. by the way we finished it up the very day so I do not know how many days it lasts … but it tastes awesome … man .. I m sounding like a broken record .. but it does tastes so .. just got to chop them up and crush them up .. and u can whip up the best breakfast ever … amazing..
