I'm not sure if I was supposed to make a new thread myself or not, but I figured if I wasn't, then it wouldn't have let me. lol.

Ok, so about me...I'm a 20 year old female living in Panama City Beach, Florida. Don't get too excited! lol I'm a dialysis patient. I've been on dialysis for almost a year and a half now. I've been turned down for a transplant twice, and I'm going for another evaluation in Oct. If there's anything else you want to know, just go to my site. It's all there somewhere. lol. I'm here to talk about FOOD!!!

I love to eat and cook new, strange foods. lol. Well, strange to me...I was a very sheltered child. lol. I'm in college full-time, and I'm engaged to a 40 year old. lol. Yes, I said 40. We've been together for a year and a half. I'm very happy with my life! The only thing missing is a baby boy!

well, if you're in to strange, period, you're in the right place... good ole Mouri posted a recipe on preparing dogs, eating maggots and quite a few other culinary treats... eeek... LOL WE have real food recipes here too so feel free to ask away. Sorry, I usually am here to welcome new folks but the chili contest has taken a toll on my time, thank God it's over. I'm still just so excited that I was on the news and the tag line to introduce the footage of the contest was the Anchor women saying Iron Chef Meets Grilldog... OMG although I didn't win any of the contests that day, I was the only one interviewed and with an introduction like that.. I won LOL.... oh I digressed LOL.. Glad to have you here and look forward to your posts... I'll calm down tomorrow... maybe.. LOL

lol. That's ok. I understand how exciting that had to have been! Did you actually get to meet one of the Iron Chefs from the Food Network?? That would be SO cool!! lol.

Anyway, I hope you were looking to get a posting fanatic, bc that's something else that I really enjoy. After I get used to the way things work here, I'll be your top poster like I am at TV&D!! lol

Great! you'll have to compete with Mouri for top poster. Frankly the rules are pretty relaxed here. If you see a thread as old as a dinasour that Moses wrote about making the tablets, feel free to post if you're interested, it might strike up a conversation again. If you feel the need to rant about anything just make sure we know it's a rant. We do try and not argue with each other but we do disagree at times and have plenty of playful banter. Plus if you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know. Welcome aboard! So should we call you Shey or Shannon?

Either is fine. lol I saw how many posts the top poster has, and I think it's going to take me a LONG time to reach that! lol. I think I spoke too soon when I said that I would be top poster soon.
