I know your name is GRILLdog, but do you ever bake? My mom makes this cake that's really good. I tried to find the recipe online, and I couldn't, so I'm guessing someone in my family came up with it. It's called Dump Cake. At least that's what my family calls it. lol. Here's the recipe::

1 box of yellow cake mix
1 can of crushed pineapple
1 can of blueberry pie filling
1 stick of butter

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Mix pineapple and blueberry pie filling in a bowl. Pour into 9" x 13" cake pan evenly. Pour cake mix (without anything added; just the powder) over the pineapple and blueberry mixture evenly. Slice the stick of butter into thin strips and place all over the top of the cake mix about an inch apart, but use the entire stick of butter. Bake for 30-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and hardened a little.

My mom used to make it when I was younger, and it's always been my favorite!! I make it now. It's pretty sweet. You can also change out the fruits and make it your own! Let me know if any of you try it!!

we normally gill on the gas grill outside BUT we do bake a ton of things like fish, pasta, fries, cakes, etc. Everyone bakes!

Yeah, I like baking more than anything else. It's easier. Just throw it all together, put it in the oven and wait. lol. I'm lazy.

yes, grilldog can also bake.... i hope you will get a copy of grilldog's recipe book.... he has fanastic recipes, quick and easy recipe.

i also love to bake. but i've just started this summer. so far, they were edible. i've already tried baking chocolate cake, brownies, oatmeal cookies, and chocolate crinkles. baking is fun.

Actually, although I can bake, it's pretty much the one thing I don't do. LOL... I do everything on a grille (Charcoal) or on top of a stove. My wife bakes and she's awesome at it!

Yes, I prefer to bake as well! Nothing like a chocolate cake...hmmmm....

I'll probably get a few recipes from it. (It's online here, right?) I'm a dialysis patient though, so I am kind of limited as to what I can and can't eat.

If you're referring to the recipe book we took it off line since the contest was over. However we have many recipes here and if you are interested in any particular type of food or recipe, feel free to start a thread. I'm always glad to help out!
