Grilldog's Forum

I know we here a lot on the net about people not being who they are supposed to be. A lot of times it's just for harmless fun. Take me for example, I'm here as Grilldog helping to promote my show and philosophy of Food, Fun and Friends around the globe. Plus I get to meet a bunch of new friends all the time. However, not everyone on the net is as harmless as good ole Grilldog. Some pose as other people and do nothing but cause havoc and problems. For example, a porn star took the name of a high school rival and everyone thought the porn star really was this other innocent girl. Needless to say, it caused a lot of problems for the girl.

I'd like to say, I don't know why people do those things... however, unfortunatly, I do know why, they are childish and immature... They think they are being BIG by pretending to be someone else and causing havoc for others. However, I'm here to tell you that they are not BIG in fact, they are one of the Smallest and petty minded people I can think of.

Anyway, I was wondering what all the good folks on my forum thought about that? Just remember, if you see Good ole Grilldog on another sight, and it doesn't sound like me, check it out, let me know, because there's only one true authentic, except no subsitutes, Good ole Grilldog and that's ME! Yeah, that is a very immature thing to do. Every once in a while, I will pretend to be someone else or use a fake name, but it's always FAKE. The fake name I always use is Sheena (bc it's close to my name, and I think that name is pretty) Piper (bc it's one letter different from my last name.) Sometimes I pretend to be a guy when I am bored in a chat room. lol. I'm weird. But when someone does what you described, just to be malicious, that's just wrong.

I agree Shay, everyone on the net has a chance to be someone else, it's not weird, the problem is when someone with their own forum feels they have so much power they can berate someone else for no reason other then the fact that they are petty, it's a shame.

Yeah, that just sucks. It's one thing to create another name for yourself online, as long as it doesn't belong to someone else. That is identity theft and is a crime. Just pitiful.

Yeah, I mean we all play over here, Mouri, the Monkey, Billdog, Grillectable etc, but to assume someone else's identity just to be malicious is just down right juvenile.

Now that just takes the cake, that is just down right mean. I'm sure we all joke about the names Grilldog has given us but I know Grilldog's "Grillpack of Friends" are pretty harmless! Except, well, those crabs, Man, I saw that crab scene, that was nasty!

*sigh* Yes, this is an awful circumstance, something I'm dealing with at the moment. Guess that's why G'dog is posting this on his forum. It is unbelievable when someone else thinks it's perfectly OK to join a forum and pretend to be someone else (me!) I'm still a bit floored by it.

I'll bite the little, ahh, there's not a name bad enough, I know they are written all over that other dude's sight, man is it filthy over there, spring cleaning would take a decade!

Yeah, it's good I never went back. Definitely not my idea of a hospitable forum! Hopefully it chokes itself in its own filth.
