LOL... oh yeah, secrets, some of them aren't very secret are they LOL.. At least everyone now can wish me a happy Birthday in October. Don't forget to mark you all's calendar for the week of October 18th 2009 everyone is invited down to Mazatlan Mexico, I'll be 50.
That is unless you cut yourself with your new knife!! lol There may be some surprises for you from the Grillpack of Friends before then. We can't go that long without surprising someone and I think it should be you.
Oh, I used my new knife for the first time tonight and it was awesome and I didn't cut myself either. I'm making a cajun potato salad and I'm smoking the potatoes, green onions, red peppers and garlic bulbs. But for the Garlic bulbs I had to whack the tops off and drizzle olive oil in it and some thyme then grilled it... the knife sliced threw that garlic like it was melted butter sigh... I need a brandy!!!
Ah, there is nothing like the first cut of a new knife. It is worth much celebration. I have knives that have lasted for years and have stayed sharp, but there is nothing quite as sharp as a new knife.
oh yes there is .. the sharp sense of humor of two of my chef frnds !
