Hope everything went well. I am eagerly awaiting your recipe for green tea ice cream. I love it, but when I have tried to make it the result has been flat-tasting.
Really, I guess you never saw my ice cream episode, it's my basic ice cream recipe with 1 cup of powdered green tea added during the whisking of the eggs and sugar. Comes out really nice! yum yum
Yes, it was an interesting added flavor to the thai tea. Definitely not flat tasting.
I've never tried making it with the green tea powder -- only strong brewed green tea. I'll try the powder.
The powder is much nicer and it's really great, I used splenda in my recipe instead of sugar and I used 1 cup of green tea powder, the only trouble is that I was only able to get the individual bags and had to open them all, it was a pain LOL
