Just what are Grilled Irish Tacos, do the Irish know about this? Do the Mexicans? Where does the Grille come in? Irish Boil, Mexicans Fry, can the combination actually happen! The great event/filming will be on Sunday March 16th in Chula Vista. I'm not going to tell anyone any of my dishes until afterwards but please, feel free to guess bwa ha ha ha ha
OMG, the ultimate convenience food -- the corned beef and cabbage burrito!! Imagine the gas that will produce.
I am writing that anti gas episode so these will be great. I'm actually not using corn beef, I've got lamb, pork and cod just to give you a clue, but you are on the right track LOL
And if you can package some Colcannon in a soft tortilla that would be a little bit of heaven!! That might be asking too much, though.
damn you've been peeking at the recipes, there is a potatoe mash leeky, creamy thingy I'm going to use as a topping/sauce for one of the tacos :-)
Well, Colcannon is a potato, leek, cabbage thing that is pretty stiff. I was thinking it might make a good tortilla filling. Sort of a Irish-Mexican Perogie!!!
yeah, that sounds great, I'll have to try that but for the show we are only using Tortillas so i'm going to top the grilled cod with it.
Sounds delicious. How about with salmon filling??
That would be good too, but I'm pretty limited to about 3 items so we're doing 1 lamb, 1 pork and 1 fish.
Well, there is only so much you can do in thirty minutes!! lol Keep salmon in mind for another show.
