This was our second Egg episode we filmed. We filmed on Memorial day and we really went back to our roots on this one. Everyone had a great time, Grillpup refused to show up due to the problems of the first Egg Episode. Roadie Dog was late and I got hot grease dripped on my leg. All in all i can't wait to edit this one! However, anyone with any culinary skills at all shouldn't be watching this episode. In fact, no one should be watching it... and that's a grilldog warning you can all stomach!
we are just now in the process of editing the show and it's looking great!
OMG!! You are warning us beforehand??? This really must be gross.
this episode has Splat appeal. There's actually a close up shot of the egg foo young frying in the pan that was so gross I cut the close up totally out of the show.
Okay, I give. How exactly do you make egg foo young so gross it can't be shown on public access television? That must have taken some doing!!
chefy, I really appreciate your training, the places you've studied, your skill and your knowledge of the culinary arts, as well as your advice (believe it or not) however, the close up scene of the egg foo young was something NO ONE should see... I finally found a boundary I couldn't cross...
Well, if you say so I will believe you. I am not sure I want to go where Grilldog is unwilling to venture. It is not that I don't believe you, I just wanted to know how you managed to do it!!
well, I can imagine him frying up the eggs while raw egg is dripping off the pan and all the tools he was using and running this way and that, at least that's sort of what I've heard around the dog pound.
well, we make big extra large egg foo young patties and people kept tossing the raw eggs, and it just looked nasty but tasted good. The far shots you can't see the mess that well, but I had to can the close ups.
Maybe you need to install a shield around the food you are cooking to keep it from being contaminated by the food being thrown at you.
