Hi Grilldog Fans, Family and Friends!
I'm the first one to bark at email abuse and sending internet hoaxes but this is not a hoax. Normally, you'll only get 1 email a month from me regarding the Howler, Unless your safety is threatened! The San Diego Police and FBI sent this warning out so folks in Southern California can be on alert from June 17-20. The PDF file also contains some practical safety concerns and practices that folks in other towns could find interesting and should consider following.

The attached Situation Intelligence Report from the San Diego Police Department and the FBI concerning the upcoming BIO International Convention to be held in San Diego June 17 - 20, is for information purposes only. All have been asked to help provide widest possible distribution. There have been no specific threats made against businesses or individuals.
In addition to background on the convention, the report includes interesting items about Activist Ideology and Extremist Groups.
If possible, avoid the area and potential demonstrations and demonstrators.

I'd recommend you groups in San Diego, be highly aware of this especially if you have any downtown events those days, and please feel free to forward this to your members. Grilldog is on the job.
