I have nothing against duct tape, but I think the full helmet idea would be pretty painful. Your hairline may be receding, but you do still have hair.

oh I'll put one of those shower caps on top of my hair so it won't pull out, however, I enjoy listening to the aliens they are our friends!

maybe you can go on some medications, it sounds like you need it.
