At work, the folks there all think they can cook bwa ha ha ha... Anyway, I've been once again challenged to another cookoff. what's up with people, they like to loose?

Anyway, the competition is Butternut squash soup... a favorite of folks during the fall season. Usually in the cooler climates not here in San Diego. Sigh, but a challenge is a challenge therefore, here is my entry, what do you think?

I'm going to make a curry spiced butternut soup with the squash that I roasted on my grille. I'll put that in the bowl. I'm going to use plain yogert that I'm going to squirt in the soup from a squirt bottle to make a spiral design. In the middle of the soup I'm going to put a scoop of spiced rum butternut squash Ice cream. I'm going to top it all off with some grated nutmeg and some butternut squash granola that I made with the squash and some toasted pumpkin seeds....

What do you all think?

As I told you elsewhere, I think the ice cream idea is inspired, even if the judges didn't agree.

I gave up the food contestant crap, I'm now a judge, screw them LOL

Grilldog, it sounds magnificent!! Butternut squash soup is just about my favorite soup ever in the whole world, and this one sounds super great!
